I’m knitting a tank top from Green Mountain Spinnery, and unfortunately I cannot find any sort of link to a pattern or picture of it. However, the piece is worked in the round, with a marker placed halfway to divide the front and back stitches for the tank. I’ve already begun the armhole shaping by binding some off and moving the stitches for the front to some waste yarn, and I am now focused on the back of the sweater. The instructions are as follows:
“Working back and forth note that rows 2 & 4 of the pattern are now purl rows. Bind off 2 sts at the beginning of the next 4 rows. Then decrease 1 st each end every wrong side row 4 times.”
How would I bind off at the end of the wrong side row? I did the bind off at the beginning just fine, purled across the remaining stitches, but I cannot see how I’d do this. If there isn’t a way, or isn’t an easy way, could I just finish purling this row, turn the work so the right side is facing me and bind off a stitch at the beginning of this row instead?
