Bind off

Hi,
Looking for your favorite bind off for a chunky weight blanket
Thank You

I don’t knit with chunky yarn, and I pretty much only knit shawls, so I’m not sure I’ll be of any help
I like an i-cord bind off. It looks so neat and finishes things perfectly. I cut the yarn, turn to the WS and rejoin, then purl a row, then CO 3 stitches then i-cord. That’s my go to.

Are you following a pattern and if so can you tell us the name of the pattern and designer?
What stitch pattern are you ending the blanket with?

The pattern is The Harvest Throw. I don’t think It will bind off in pattern.

Maybe this one:

A simple stitch over stitch bind off will work, especially if you are going to add fringe to the ends.

Thank You

What is knit stars. I never heard of this before. And this person says season 8. Sounds like a reality show (which I’m sure it’s not) but it got me to wondering what it is

Gosh, I hadn’t realized it had reached season 8 (and now 10)!
It’s a series of rather expensive classes taught by well-known figures in the knitting world, Patty Lyons, Arne & Carlos among them. The classes center on techniques and styles of knitting as far as I know.

Thanks for the info. Always learning something new.
