Big Comfy (easy) Sweater Ideas

Hi!

I am wanting to start a sweater for myself. I want something that is big and comfy and super easy. I really like this one from Knitty, http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall02/PATTtopsecret.html but the bulkiness of the neck bugs me. I generally dont like anything on my neck.

Any suggestions? I wouldn’t mind paying for a pattern if it is “THE ONE”.

Knitting Pure and Simplehas some wonderful, easy patterns! My first one was the women’s #9724.

Modifying this pattern would be pretty easy. After you finish the yoke, just purl an inch or so to make a rolled neckline, similar to what the bottom hem has.

These were listed under Berroco as “Easy” and look pretty comfy to me.

Yeah, you wouldn’t have to make the Topsecret neck so big, just stop when it’s a normal neckline.
