Hello everyone- my son and DIL are expecting baby no. 2 in February and of course the baby knitting has begun!
I want to knit a jumper for my grandson to make sure he doesn’t feel left out, with the words ‘big brother’ on the front. I know ‘brother’ has a lot of letters for a jumper for a 3 year old, but I’m really not keen on the ‘big bro’ wording… any suggestions anyone or does anyone know of a pattern? Congratulations to you and your family on the expected baby!
You might get the lettering to work on a fine gauge knit, maybe a sock weight. I wonder if you could embroider the words on any gauge sweater (not duplicate stitch).
Another possibility is to spell out “big” and use an icon for a generic boy, meaning big brother.
