Best Circular Needles for Socks?

Hello,
I have tried knitting socks on four dpn’s and I just can’t get the hang of it. I really don’t like how the socks end up looking and the stitches end up being very uneven. What are your recommendations for circ needles for socks? I don’t necessarily mean brand, but more like length of the circular cable.

Addi or Knit Picks. They have the best cables for it. I prefer two circulars over Magic Loop.

I prefer Knitpicks Options or Addis, 24 inch cable. Size of needle depends on the yarn weight. For sock yarn I prefer a size US 1. I also prefer 2 circs to magic loop.
