Best Cast on for Rectangular Shawl

I’m fairly new to knitting and am starting a rectangular shawl. I started with a cast for shawls that I found on the internet but it seems too tight for the work. I hate to complete the shawl and find it pulling too tight at the start. What would be the best cast on to use?

For socks I’ve used a german twisted cast on. That might work for a shawl. Just do any one you choose loosely. There’s a video here or your can search You Tube.
