I’m finally making a C2C blanket. Are the decreases in this pattern correct? It says to decrease every other row for 12 rows then decrease every row. Increases were every row. Sounds lopsided to me! Thank you!

I found this one which is worked similarly but decreases every row. https://www.handylittleme.com/corner-to-corner-baby-blanket-pattern/

That sounds lop-sided to me too. I just looked at several c2c blankets and none has this extra corner area on one side. I’d go straight to the decreases at the beginning of every row.

Thank you! That’s what I did but I’ve only done a few rows. I found an email address for Yarnspirations and sent them a message.

Here’s the response from Yarnspirations:

“ It depends upon the size you wish to make and the shape you wish it to be. When working this pattern, if you want a perfect square, then decrease on both sizes when you start decreasing. Or if you wish the blanket to be a rectangle, then decrease every other row for a few rows. The choice is entirely yours.

The pattern instructions are correct.”

Very helpful. Thank you for following up!
