I made this sweater for my neice and I thought it was really easy to make. http://www.knittingonthenet.com/patterns/babysweyokecard.htm
Once I made some hats and baby socks (little socks tend to stay on better than booties in my experience) I started on toys… Jean Greenhowe has some wonderful dolls! Garnstudios has some lovely children’s clothing patterns for free on their sites.
Mama Bear
Thanks for finding this pattern. I bought a ball of this yarn and was looking for a pattern for a co-worker who’s daughter is having a baby shower this weekend!!

I love this sweater, and it has fit her for so long. I would suggest knitting it a little longer than it says. It would still fit her except it is to short.
hmmm well I’ll just have her give it back so I can add more to it when it is too small. Thanks for that tip
