Barbie Mermaid pattern confusing

I’m doing this pattern and confused by one of the directions. It says

Row3: knit 3,with right needle, lift the loop and knit the next stitch, allowing the loop to slide behind the stitch repeat until 2 stitch remains, knit 2

I’m starting with 26

In terms I can understand am I knitting the second stitch but moving both stitch 1 and 2 to my right needle but effectively swapping the order they sit on the needle?

If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thankyou in advance

This is a slight variation on the butterfly stitch. There should be an earlier row with slip sts with yarn in front. This creates the loop. Go under the loop to knit the next stitch then let the loop fall to the back. It’s similar to this video but instead of 3 or 4 rows of slip sts, there’s just the one.
