Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? I swear I have seen a pretty, lacy hanky that is supposed to be used at a baby girl’s baptism, and then saved for her to carry at her wedding. Does anyone know of a pattern for such a thing? Or a pattern for a pretty, lacy, hanky? The baptism is April 19th so I have to get my buns in gear…
I don’t have a pattern, but have heard of it. The way I remember it is a hanky the bride carries that doubles as a baby bonnet for christening.

It could work either way though!
I didn’t see any that were that specific. I would think you could take a lace ‘dishcloth’ pattern and use very fine yarn to make a beautiful hanky.
This one for example - if you used a fine yarn, small needles and a knit or crocheted lacy border it would be gorgeous!
THANK YOU both!
That’s exactly what I needed! This board is so fabulous…
