Does anyone have any general guidelines or tips for making balloon sleeves? It’s got ribbing by the wrist and then has a loose balloon shape for the arm part. I’m just wondering how to do the increases or if anyone has any tips on this.

Are you designing the pattern? Then it sounds like you’ll have to experiment with the placement and rate of increase for these sleeves.
Sleeves are often increased at the wrist after the ribbing and then either side of a line under the arm but you probably want an initial increase on a row or two or even more for this shaping.

Yeah, I’m trying to design a pattern. I think I will try experimenting with the increases like you said in the first or second row after ribbing. Good tips, I will try it out today!
