Anyone know of an easy pattern for one of those grocery bag holders? I’ve only seen them in crochet. Thanks!
i don’t know i would just pick whatever stitch you want to do and knit it in the round…put some eyelets 2-3 inches from the end on both sides and run and i-cord or ribbon through it so you can loosen or tighten it as need be et viola…bag holder! 
good idea! i never thought of the eyelet’s thing. Can you point me in the right direction to learn how to do eyelets?
when do it just YO then K2tog. So just figure out how big you want it to be and then evenly space them throughout.
so if i were doing it i would for example cast on 80 stitches (obviously you would have to decide how big you wanted it and all that) knit in the round for about 4 inches or so and then the next round i would knit 8, yo, k2tog all the way around and then i would knit every round again until about 4 inches from the other end and do it again.
obviously you would play with the size but you get the idea.
