Baby jacket, need some help

Hello ,

I m kniting a baby jacket for my nephew:happydancing: but i don t understand what they meant for the shape back>
Here what is written:

Shape back
Next row(RS)-k1,sl 1,k.1,p.s.s.o , K to last 3sts, K2tog., k1
Next row-P1,p.2tog.,P to last 3sts, P2tog. t.b.l, p1.

I ve already knitted the 2 decreased rows and i m stuck :shrug: ,

You just repeat the 2 rows until you have 25 stitches left. So you would continue doing row one, then row 2, following the diagonal raglan shoulder line. Does that make sense? You’re basically stacking decreases on top of decreases.

But you don’t decrease on every row until you get to 25 sts.

So rpt R 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, then every other row you’ll do a decrease until you’re down to 25 sts. You’ll probably be doing the RS row - row 1 for those every other rows.

Thank you contiknitter , suzeeq but i still have one question to make it clear.
So after decreasing these 5 next row, the next row(Ws-purl) i will purl without decreasing and the Rs row, i will decrease that why is written alt row. Does it make sense?:??
