Hello,

I know there are a ton of freebie baby hat patterns, hence my dilemma! I just can’t figure out which one to knit!!!

Anyone have a link to a free pattern they like using that works well for a newborn to around 6 months??

I think I am going to give this hat a try - I have the needles and yarn already!! yay! Anyone ever make this hat, any tips?

The beginner fair isle pattern is adorable. However, if you want something even easier, I’ve enjoyed this one:

I’ve knitted it four times. You can see them on my blog (and can definitely see how I improved each time. Ironically, the best one turned out the be the one I did for little girl’s doll):
