Hi, am knitying my first baby cardigan. Have done the back and sleeves, now working on the front. For the rib rows - on k1p1 rows I knitted the ladt 6 stitches for the frint border and on the p1k1 rows knitted 5 stitches at the beginning of the row.
Now I have startes the stocking stitch bit, do I continue doing the 6 stitches on the knit rows and 5 on the purl rows ?
What is the name and designer of the cardigan? The button and buttonhole borders may be the sts (the 5 and 6 sts). They are likely to continue up the fronts. Knowing the pattern and designer will help us. You can also look at the photo of the cardigan and refer to the finishing at the end. That’ll help with determining what these sts are and whether they continue up the fronts.
