I finished Aunt Pearl’s Baby blanket and gave it to a friend for her new baby. Here is the new baby and the blankie.

How ambitious of you to knit a cabled blanket as a first baby blanket. I knit baby blankets all the time but I couldn’t be bothered to try cables! Kudos to you!
Hi!
very nice blanket. I am thinking of making my first ever baby blanket soon. I have just never tried one. And I am bothering my mind over and over for a pattern. Most likely there will be cables involved, though. That just looks SO elegant.
I am thinking of making the matching teddy bear with the blanket. Just to have a cute and equally cuddely pair. And yes… I AM thinking of cables on the teyybears belly as well. Call me nuts.
I really like your project and take the starting kick in the *** to get going… well I have about 8 month left, so no overly stressed project.
Gorgeous! Thanks for that pattern also. My friend is expecting her first grandbaby in October. I believe that’s what I’m going to do for her. Great job!
I highly endorse the pattern. It was easy but interesting and once you do the set up row, you really don’t need to look at the pattern much again.
Beautiful Bambi!!
Wow! It turned out beautiful!! Congrats on a wonderful job!
What a wonderful gift, Bambi! It’s simply gorgeous!
Great photo! Thanks for sharing that!
Thats amazing. It looks so soft too.
Beautiful pattern … and I love the color you chose as well!
Very nicely done and looks great on the babe! :yay: :yay: :yay:
