Pattern is on u tube called “baby blanket call the midwife baby blanket “. No written just video and I’ve started first chain of 85 + 7 for five blocks. The problem is on second row after 15 doubles my last two are over the top of the chain two space which is wrong. I started another chain of 34 + 7 for two blocks and the same problem happened. This may be a easy fix but I’m stumped. Btw the baby this is for was born yesterday. Planned on making 5 blocks wide and 9 wide. The waffle sweater, hat and booties are finished and this pattern looked not so difficult…huh. Any help would be appreciated.
Got it…at end of second row I wasn’t making the last dbl… I was “picking” sts. This was wrong. Amazing what sleep and coffee can do for nimble fingers

You are correct salmonmac. I don’t work well under pressure w/ little one here 4 days ago but having fun now that 6 row repeat is finished. Baby’s name is Savy Ray and can’t wait to meet the ray of sunshine.
