Baby Blanket for Jace

I love the way this turned out, but the pattern wasn’t very well written. Still, it is a lovely blanket. For my chiropractor’s new baby.
First time I’ve used the Nashua Creative Focus, and I really like it. It’s very soft. A bit splitty on the crochet bind-off, but very nice for the money. I’ll definitely use it again. Got it from Webs for half-price!

Wow Slim, it turned out just gorgeous!!! Great job!

that is an amazoing blanket! I am impressed. Very calm and nice but still very decorated. Well done and one happy baby!

That is one very beautiful baby blanket!
And I add, impeccably knit and finished!!!

Gosh, that is just beautiful!! You do amazing work

What a beautiful blanket! Seems like I’m always needing a baby blanket for a gift these days and love to have new patterns.

What issues did you find with the way the pattern was written? Would like to hear your suggestions, changes, etc.

This is amazing looking; it looks like something you would be in a high end store. I hope I can knit this beautifully one day.

Beautiful blanket! :muah: It looks like an heirloom. So sophisticated, if a baby item can be such. I love the corners.

On my baby blaket project I was yet unsure about the border part. I had thought of ribbing. Now I know better. I will plan out something like this (but maybe smaller) with the little cables. That is so cute! Thanks for the inspiration.

It took almost a month, but I was working a lot of overtime and not knitting much. The bind-off took forever, with 568 stitches on the needles!

The pattern is apparently still being test knit. There were a couple of places in the border instructions where brackets or asterisks were misplaced, so I had to really pay attention. But nothing I couldn’t figure out by looking at pictures of finished blankets on Ravelry.

It is just beautiful! The colorway is perfect for a boy or girl.

Oh wow! What a masterpiece! Great work, Slim! This will be a family heirloom, for sure!

That is just absolutely beautiful! What a treasure to keep and pass down.

wwwwwwwaaaOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!
