I am not sure how to attach an I-cord to the finished edge of a purse. All the instructions say is to “sew cord along top edge of bag”. Any suggestions ? :??
Are you attaching it all along the top or just for the handles? If it’s all the way around, I imagine you just sew it on. :shrug: If it’s for handles, I’ve read that using fishing line or tough nylon thread is good–invisible yet strong.

There is a way to knit the ICord onto a project, but for the life of me, I can’t remember where I found the tutorial for it! All I remember is that I typed in “Attach ICord” in a google and it came up with a great one. I used it on a belt and it looks SO good!
Thanks for your reply - I looked in my book “Encyclopedia of Knitting” and found out how to knit on the I-cord by picking up stitches along the edge and knitting the I-cord as you go. Thanks !
