Attaching a Middy Collar

Hi Everyone

I have this baby cardigan finished and I am trying to attach the collar. I’m not sure what stitch to use or the color as the collar is white and the sweater is blue. Also, I am having difficulty when I get up the the back of the neck, it seems I have to attach a right and wrong side, is this correct.

I think you want to match up the right side (that is the public side) of the collar with the inside of the sweater at the neck. Then you could use a running back st to attach the two together in either blue or white yarn. That way, when you flip the collor over so the correct side is showing, it will cover most of the seam and look pretty.
