Anybody able to explain to me what this means would be appreciated :)

looking at a knitting pattern, i dont actually understand what this particular part of the pattern means. Would be great if somebody would be able to explain it to me. thanks

Row 45: k1, YF, K3STS, (YO2, K2TOG, K5STS) TWICE, YO2, K2TAG, K4STS, (K2TOG, YO2, K5STS) TWICE, K2TOG, YO2, K3STS, YF, K2TOG (52STS)

Row 46: K5STS, (K1, P1, 3 times, K1, -ALL INTO YO2 OF PREVIOUS ROW, K6STS) 6 TIMES, ENDING K5STS INSTEAD OF K6STS (82STS)

the part which is underlined is particulary confusing to me, i know how to do the rest, ie row 45, just added that bit in because i thought it might make more sense  thanks much jackie

OK, thanks for row 45 which does help. The YOs in row 45 are double YOs so that in the next row you’ll k1, p1, k1, p1, k1, p1, k1 all into the YO from the previous row. This video may help give you the idea of at least part of what this looks like. You’ll be starting with a k1 but the idea is the same, keep moving the yarn from back to front to back as you k1, p1, k1 etc.
