Some of those gloves would work well for a man, made larger typically.

‘Merry Monday is available for free for the time being. This may change any time.’
`
free for now, $2.95 after jan 4th.
If I store some of these patterns in my Ravelry library, will I still be able to access them after the free-period is over?
Yes. If “purchased” with a code that makes it free I think you’ll get updates. If just stored by clicking to save it, I’ve read you wont’ get updates.
~
published today, free for all of 2015, so you have a little bit of time to download it
I didn’t get the Save to Library option, did you?
i did… and just double checked, and yup, on the pattern page it says it’s saved in my library. and also too, just in case i checked the library page, and it shows up on the shelf…
Wow! I coulda had a V8. Apparently I wasn’t logged in.
Please, wake me up when we get there.
`
i think they meant jan 3rd, because it’s just barely been posted, and it’s already 8:35 pacific/11:30 eastern. it can’t be free for an hour only, can it? at any rate, get it quick!
UPDATE - sorry, everyone, looks like it really was only free for a very limited time. we’ll all get the next one!
Apparently it’s no longer free.
oh no! sorry, i had just refreshed my browser, and i know it hadn’t been there an hour before that.
I thought it said free when I first clicked on it but it didn’t let me have it. As if I’d ever actually use the pattern anyhow. It IS the thought that counts. You really are a great knitting pal to let us know about all these freebies you find!
`
after the 10th it goes up to Australian $3.50 ($2.80ish US)
`
will be $2 after jan 31st. also, as it’s a square-a-month, i’d suggest interested knitters bookmark the page and leave themselves a reminder to check for the feb, march, april, etc editions, in case those are limited-time free as well.
`
haven’t seen many freebie patterns since the holidays, but here’s one that just posted on ravelry.
`
this one is a mystery KAL. once the KAL is over, the pattern will cost $3.
it’s likely an animal, floral, or fruit item, as that’s what the designer often does, so it’s great for critter-knitters and amigurumi aficionados.
1st clue ready saturday jan 17th
2nd clue a week later
3rd clue a week later later
finishes feb 15th. sometime soon after that, the pattern will be available for purchase
…although not sure which time zone that refers to.
it compliments the ‘170’ scarf pattern by the same designer. that pattern is available for $3.99 at http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/170n.
