I’m trying to make this pattern here: http://www.spunmag.com/article/060421cleo
Now my problem. Which I noticed way past that point and had to frog it…
Row 3: >>Row 3: K3, p3, k4, p3, T4F, p4, T4B, T4F, p4, T4B, p3, k4, p3, k3.
Se says that T4F (is cn on front, p2, k the sts on the cn), T4B (cn on back, p2, k sts on cb). When I do this row exactl like this, for some reason I’m getting purl in the middle of the braid (instead of K)… I think I’m doing something wrong here…
Any idea why this is happening? :??
TIA!
>>T4F - Sl next two sts to cn and hold in front of work, p next 2 sts, k 2 sts from cn
>>T4B - Sl next two sts to cn and hold in back of work, p next 2 sts, k 2 sts from cn
I think there’s a mistake in the T4B directions. This is what they should say:
T4F Twist 4 Front slip next 2 sts onto cable needle and hold at front of work, purl next 2 sts from left-hand needle, then knit sts from cable needle.
T4B Twist 4 Back slip next 2 sts onto cable needle and hold at back of work, knit next 2 sts from left-hand needle, then purl the 2 sts from cable needle.
That is much better!! Thank you so much, Ingrid!!
