Ann Norling Sweater Pattern

Hi

I am knitting this Kid’s Top-Down Raglan (Pattern #53) for crew neck pullover. The pattern states (YokeSection) to CO 12sts at beg of row. K inc before & after each marker. Do not turn.K across sts of front and left sleeve.place a different color marker to designate this as the beg of rnd from here on. Do not turn. K in round. How do I join in the round d in the middle of a row and not at the end of a row? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

As the pattern says, don’t turn. You’ll have RS facing and just knit the first stitch of the right front to join for in the round and continue knitting. It’s pretty much like joining after casting on. Cute pattern. Are you doing a V neck pullover?

eta I think I’m misreading the pattern but don’t know exactly how.

You will be joining at the end of the row and joining your work so far to the 12 newly cast on sts. You are now working in the round.
Do you want to post a photo of your sweater so far? Maybe it would help to see it laid out?

Thanks for your quick response. The pattern I am knitting is by Anne Norling. I’m knitting the crew neck pullover.

Thanks again

Thank you. I think I understand what you are saying. I am attaching a photo of my work I’ve cast on the 12 stitches and knitted across the row. Now I should join the rows and start knitting and I’ll be knitting in the round. I have no idea why I have made this so complicated for myself
