I have reached the section of pattern where I have divided the stitches into sleeves and body but for the skirt section we are told to change the beginning of round to the middle of the right underarm. But when I finished dividing into sleeves and body my end of round and working yarn was at the left back. Do I now knit to the middle of the right underarm before I start counting rounds ?
That’s the simplest way to work this. An alternative is to cut the working yarn leaving a tail to weave in later and rejoin at the right underarm. That seems unnecessarily complicated to me and gives you two more ends to weave in later.

That’s how I’d do it. Cutting yarn when not necessary just ain’t my thing.
