An easy, first time sock pattern using size 3 needles?

I have two skeins each of Sock Garden from Knitpicks and Dancing from Knitpicks, both of which are fingering weight with a guage 7-8 sts=1" on #1-3 needles. I have a set of size 3 DPNs, and don’t think I want to go any smaller for fear that I’ll make myself totally nuts … yes, more than I am now, even.

So, got any ideas for me?

This was my first sock pattern:

It was very straight forward, easy to follow instructions, and nothing fancy about the design. A perfect first sock pattern!

Darhain,
just do it… my first project was a scarf, and the second, and the third. My next project was socks, and I still have them. Sure, they’re not perfect, but I still wear them. And every time somebody asks me about them… I say “Yeah, I made them myself” And they think that’s great. Then they ask me if I can make them some, or teach them how to make their own.
SO, JUST DO IT… KNIT ON

I don’t know if this is too late but I love this pattern!
