midwives are a tenacious bunch! If there’s a way, they’ll find it!
I had my youngest 2 children at home with midwife(wives) in attendance. The last was on Christmas Eve, 18 years ago! And yes, there was snow, and yes, she made it in time. LOL!
My oldest, a daughter, learned not to be afraid of birth because of that and had her 2 at home with the same midwife years later. Homebirths/midwife births are wonderful, awesome things! ENJOY your birth! and your baby! 
:psst: I heard via Sheldon this evening that Baby girl Finlay arrived today (all 8lbs 12oz of her). I don’t know much more than that (other than that Sheldon is an adoring dad of course). :happydance:
(Amy told me last Tuesday that I had permission to pass on news of the arrival and she can fill you in later when she gets settled.)
