All 3 patterns are from Amigurumi Today
Eva the Fairy : The making of my first Amigurumi - a long-standing fascination, perhaps stemming from watching my grandmother draw happiness and satisfaction with crocheting table mats and covers, and my own never dying enthusiasm over dolls and stuffed toys
Polly the Baby Owl : Had to do a second, to try and get it better than the first some amigurumi patterns appear to be elusive. This one had several small pieces missing - so, the ears, feet and hat were borrowed from other patterns. My daughter, Aishwarya, asked them to be named
Lily, the Little Mermaid and Pika the Flounder : Fascinated by fairy tales, this Mermaid and Flounder was a fun but sluggish crochet. The hair being quite repetitive and my yarn choices not the most accurate, restricted by availability. But, at the end, the outcome is better than I set out to achieve. Many new learnings including the iris of the eye, the nose and mouth to be embroidered
