All XtopherCB, All The Time

Those look awesome X! Are they for you?

:yay:

Lookin’ good!

even MORE progress… ready for kitchener and last bit of end-weaving… phew!

:woot::yay::woohoo: Love them and great job !!!

:woohoo:

Very impressive. They should fit me just fine, thank you. :teehee:

I think I’m getting close to a dozen pair of hand knit sox. They’re time consuming and seem spendy to make but they last so long. I can’t recall a store bought pair of socks lasting like these do.

In case you don’t see it in the other thread I posted about it, look into Ghostery. It’s a browser add on that blocks trackers. I love it! I’ll see a list a mile long of things that have been blocked. It may be pseudo-privacy but I’ll take what I can get.

Maybe you should do these next.

i already have that saved… for next century.

will keep working on the spiral/ripple blanket for my aunt… but there’s these beauts in the UFO basket that are next:

just stop it ravelry. just stop. Ravelry: Sunshine and Raspberries Socks pattern by Betsy Ford

OK, what’s different about Sunshine and Raspberries?
Ravelry is an addiction.

nothing, it’s just another sock pattern using its siren song on me…

OK. I looked at the pattern thinking there was something unusual and couldn’t find it. I’m odd, looking at sock patterns really doesn’t do much for me.

I love Ravelry and their free patterns !!! So many patterns, so little time

I’m getting ready to do a kitchener st too, seaming my hoodie with it !

X ,You’re going to make someone very happy one day if you ever get married . Make sure you teach your kids to knit too.

 I hope you do better with getting a picture of the hoodie than I have with my Scrap Happy Gloves. n Ravelry is nothing but a big time suck.

There’s one way to find out if the intended is truly Ms. Right. If presented with hand knit socks she looks at Mr. X oddly and her demeanor says, what the heck, then nope, not her. If she is amazed that anyone would make her socks and cares that much even about her feet being comfy, and gives him a big hug she could well be Ms. Right. :teehee:

That’s what I talking about !

I knew you were onto something. We can’t meddle but we can give suggestions from time to time.

Fact is, people need to know about our hobbies (no, not an obsession, knitting is hobby) and if they don’t find them acceptable they probably don’t find us acceptable either. I can think of a few hobbies that would be a giveaway that someone wouldn’t be a great friend or whatever.

Let it Snow :eyes:

wednesday evening now. been out of town since sunday afternoon. “flew low” with my mom to seattle - her sister/my aunt, sherry, was, and still is, having major health issues. she’s at UW northwest hospital near northgate. was nearly in a diabetic coma, has advanced kidney failure (already had a fistula for dialysis installed over 3 years ago, looks like that starts tomorrow), and a newly-discovered mass on her liver has turned out to be malignant, and they’re trying to find the source now. it’s possible it’s a throwback from her ovarian/cervical cancers from 25+ years ago but there’s more tests to be done. and this is all while my other aunt, cathi, and cousin, caitlin, left for a california/mexico cruise (caitlin’s b-day), my parent’s anniversary was monday, it’s yucky winter driving… throw in sleeping at grandma’s/aunts’/cousin’s with their mess and hoarding (thanksgiving turkey carcass was actually FLUFFY PUFFY molded and starting to ooze, and STILL in the oven), the cats that mom and i are both allergic too, the dust we’re both allergic to in that quantity, etc and it’s been a super awesome few days. nothing anybody can really do except let the medical staff do their work. anyway, that’s why i’m not around (and not my chipper self), and won’t be around for a few more days. we both came back to yakima tonight, in this ugly wind/rain storm, to collect mail, do laundry, etc and it’s likely we’re going back tomorrow. and, i forgot to bring any damn knitting with me sunday (showered, shaved, packed and was ready for pickup in like 20 minutes - but forgot pj bottoms and allergy pills, thank you late night target). so this time just in case i have a couple easy sock projects packed. haven’t checked the forum so i know nothing about what’s going on with this place. but take care just the same

Ilm sorry to hear such sad news. It’s good you and your mom have each other. Take care. :grphug:

Very sorry to hear the news ,take care of Mom and know we’re thinking of you sweetie. All you can do is be there for them and let the doctors do the rest. Check in when you can.

I was thinking of you when I found this link
