My MIL is a watercolorist and she paints in her study at night where she gets chilly so I decided to knit her an afghan to warm up with. It’s taking FOREVER and it’s really boring to knit…BUT it has helped me get thru some tough personal issues I have had as of late.
I like that stitch, it’s looking good!

The stitch is really effective and the colour is lovely your MIL is going to be so pleased with it. xx
It’s the easiest stitch ever. It’s basic stockinette and you cast on 180 stitches and then after 10 rows you make increases in every stitch to make 360 stitches for 10 rows and then decrease back down to 180 rows and repeat…
The color is Berroco DK Couscous wool…it’s fantastic!
