Adding Ribbon to Scarf Fringe

So I almost done with my first FO. A ribbed scarf. I would like to use fringe at the ends with ribbons mixed in. Anyone done this or have any thoughts on how to do this? Thanks!!:knitting:

I’d cut all my pieces of yarn and ribbon…and hold 2 strands of yarn for every 1 piece of ribbon, and do the 3 together in each location.

I did something like this last summer. I used 2 strands of the scarf yarn and 2 strand of that novelty stuff called “Flag”. It is a type of string with little flags of stuff on it every inch or two.
