Is it possible once a project is all bounded off to add more yarn and if so, how is it done
You can take out the bind off and then add onto the now live stitches using a new end of yarn. Is that the kind of thing you want to do?
It’s possible to pick up and knit from any of the edges, the bind off or cast on edge, or row edges.
Can you describe what it is you want to do?
Just add another skein of yarn
There’s a lot of ways it could be done depending on what the situation is. Can you give us more context? What is the project?
I had this yarn that I had gotten from Jo-Ann’s when they went out of business and I was trying to figure out what to do with it, so I figured if I could make a blanket or a lap blanket that would be okay, I had used four and a half skeins because the one golden yarn was only half, And I wanted to put the other blue and gold one on, there was only three blues skeins when I bought them, cuz it was a blue and gold and so on till I got down to the last blue but whenever I measured it it measured the size of a lap blanket and I quit and then I thought why did I do that, and I was just kind of curious if there was a way to put the 5th and 6th skein on
If you want to add to the length, the easiest thing is to tink out the bind off and start knitting with the new yarn strand (see post 2 above).
You can also pick up sts along a side and knit in that direction if you’d like.
The colours are great together. It will definitly work to undo the bind off and continue knitting.
