Adding a design after knitting is complete

[COLOR=blue]Some one once posted a site that showed how to add a design to a knitted item after it had been completed. It almost looked like a counted cross stitch design. :scratchinghead: I thought I put it in favorites but can not for the life of me find it now. :pout: Does anyone remember this? :hug:[/COLOR]

I don’t remember the post you are referring to; however, the method you are describing is commonly called swiss darning or duplicate stitch.
