ok… why would i want to know that if i don’t know how many pounds it is!!! thats so stupid! plus patterns don’t go by pounds!!! :shrug:

If you know the ypp, you can estimate the gauge and get a good idea of whether the yarn is fingering or dk or worsted or bulky.
