What does it mean when a pattern doesn’t specify how many skp’s AND when it says “turn”?

It would help to see the line of the pattern as an example. The context would help alot.

Turn simply means to turn the work and start knitting on the other side.

Without seeing what the line of the pattern is, I am going to assume it means slip one stitich purl wise onto the right needle, knit the next stitch on the left needle. Then lift the slipped stitch over the stitch you just knit and off the right needle.

There is a video on how to do it in the abbvreviations explained tab!
