2 colour half fisherman's rib?

Is it possible to do a 2 colour half fisherman’s rib?

I see tutorials on 2 colour fisherman’s rib but not half fisherman’s rib (well, I saw one saying its half fihermans rib in 2 colours but there were multiple yarn strands and colours and I couldn’t work out what was going on).

What I’d like is just a few columns of my long knit stitches in a second colour, is this possible whilst knitting the piece or is duplicate stitch the only option?

I’ve done a small section of 2 color half brioche in the vitamin D sweater.


It should work equally well for fisherman’s rib. It required working the row twice, once with the main color and once with the contrast color if I remember correctly.

Thank you, I’ll give it a try working the row twice on the swatch I’ve stared. I’m just playing around with ideas for a neck band.
