Oh good, Ann… I’m not the only one. I scored a 63 and have spent the last half hour or so reevaluating my self image as a modern married thirty something while I cook dinner and do laundry. :roflhard:

I got a 76. I really feel anti-feminist. Not sure how I scored so high since I as well put my cold feet on DH at night.

I got a 49, which is average–which is not bad for 41 and never married and often told that I am just too independent! I may be too independent, but I do expect a man to check my oil and warm my feet on his bare legs! I’ll keep him warm, too!

Now don’t get me all wrong here but don’t equate the 30’s housewife with the 50’s trophy wife.
Back in the 30’s women were definitely more independant than they were 20 years later (dang talk bout a huge leap backwards huh?)
ETA: My gramma’s were them 30’s housewives n I tell ya what them ladies were no shrinking violets!!

Ha Ha Ha. I’m a much better 1930s husband than wife. I got poor on the wife test (having 0 children didn’t help that score), and I got very superior on the husband test!
