My interest in knitting started as a child when my grandmother taught me the very basics at age 8. I found crochet interesting and later taught myself to crochet with the aid of a beginner crochet book.

I’ve knit and crocheted king sized blankets and many other items including socks over the years. I also cross-stitch, do leatherwork, and enjoy tying my own fishing flies as I’m an avid outdoorswoman who enjoys fly fishing, hunting, and camping. Ah, too many hobbies, and not enough time!
