My mum tried to teach me to knit as a child but she could never quite get me to sit still long enough. I rediscovered it about 4 years ago and it has grown into crochet and spinning and really anything with wool. I love learning about the way different wools behave and different techniques. I find myself adapting patterns, I never really plan to but often get bored halfway through a project if it uses a small range of techniques and change it to add interest. I’ve not attempted making a full pattern myself as yet but it’s something I aspire to. Hopefully this forum will give some inspiration!
