I had some Kauni yarn left over from a Swallowtail shawl. I didn’t have quite enough for another Swallowtail, so I looked around for another pattern that wouldn’t require as much yarn. I found Zuzu’s Petals by Carina Spencer. I would describe it as a cross between a cowl and a shawlette. You begin by knitting flat, and then join in the round. I added glass beads. The pattern provides two versions, a sport weight and worsted version. This project knits up very quickly. The worsted version could probably be completed in a few evenings of casual knitting. It’s a great project if you have a single ball of worsted yarn that you don’t know what to do with.
Oh, so pretty!
So lovely! It’s light and delicate and wonderfully well done. Should be lots of fun to wear.
I love the look of your petals–very fashionable and so delicate.
Have fun wearing it!
Just gorgeous!
Oh WOW!

Very good work, and lovely color, too…it really shows off the pattern stitches!
Wow!
