My boyfriend has been wanting me to knit a nice sweater with style for a long time now. I love to knit but this is a hard man to please. Does anyone know where to find this? My boyfriend likes close fitting sweaters and he is a small to x-small. Any ideas? I feel like I have looked at everything?

Knitty had a men’s issue several years ago, there was a rib knit that was fairly close fitting, can’t remember the name. Go to the pattern archives and choose ‘men’s sweaters’ in the top down menu.
DROPS has some nice men’s sweaters. In the Main Category field, select Men and then type “Sweater” in the Search Word field. Good luck!
If you could give us more to go on… like does he want V-neck or crew neck? A collar? A button placket?

Yes, Jan in CA… He has told me he would like a collar more like a polo type with maybe a couple buttons at the top. or overlapping v neck. I think that is what it is described as.
