I think I am going to take a break from mitts for a while! Maybe I’ll make a pair for myself for next winter, but here is another pair of fingerless mitts, knit for my daughter. I had made her a pair for Christmas, but she requested another pair without a lace pattern on the hand (she has a 15 minute walk in Boston after getting off the train and the holes in the lace aren’t quite warm enough) and she also didn’t want the mitts to come up quite as high on her fingers as the first pair I made. These were quick and easy! I added an extra repeat of the lace pattern which falls below the wrist for a bit more length. These were knit with Berroco Ultra Alpaca in a very pretty blue-green colorway. The pattern is http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/alpaca-mitts
You guessed it...another pair of mitts!
Those are pretty!
Oh, these are gorgeous! Love the color.
Oh Margaret! Your fingerless mitts are so pretty, and well done! Wow! Great manicure, too! My hands and nails are such a wreck! I must really do something about that! You inspire me in more ways than one!
Beautiful - I love that shade of blue.
Well, thank you Dollyce! BUT that, unfortunately is not my manicure - that is my daughter modeling her mitts. My hands and nails…well, lets not go there!
LOL about the manicure conversation … the mitts are beautiful though! Love the color!
I love them, but then I love mittens! Love the manicure too.
