Yo, ssk question

I’ve hit another bump in this patter…

[k1, yo, k1, [B]yo, ssk[/B], p1, k2tog, k2tog, yo, k5, yo]

When I need to yo, ssk- do bring the yarn forward and then wrap it around the right needle once, and then ssk, or do I just bring the yarn forward for the yo, and then proceed to ssk from the front?

I’m so confused.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

Bring the yarn to the front, then over the top, ssk and that will create the YO.
