Could someone explain IN DETAIL how to do a YO when the next two stiches are perl’s? I have to k2 together and yfwd…but the next two stitches are perls. The rib pattern set is k2,p2. Thanks :eyebrow:
YO on a perl stitch?
Do your knit 2 together, then bring the yarn to the front between the needles (just like you would if you were going to purl), then bring the yarn over the right needle, returning it to the back, and then bring the yarn to the front again ready to purl, making sure that the new ‘loop’ stays on the right needle.
It sounds like a lot of steps but really it’s just wrapping the yarn once around the right needle from front to back and then returning the yarn to the purl position.
Got it knitqueen…they don’t call you that for nothin…
