Yo, k2tog

HI Everyone,

I am new today and have recently started knitting again. never was very good at it. Can anyone help me with this question?

I have the instruction yo, k2tog.

Does this mean I yarn over and knit a stich and then knit 2 together or do I yarn over on the knit 2 together stich?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome!

Put the yarn in front in as if to purl, and with the yarn in that position knit the next two stitches together. The yarn will create the yo when you knit them. You’ll get a series of eyelets.
