YO K2? Huh?

I am thinking of my next project and I would like to make new dishcloths for my kitchen since I just changed by decor from country to tuscan. I really like these dishcloths, but am very new to knitting and I just want to make sure I understand these instructions. I have copied the link into the body of this e-mail http://www.jimsyldesign.com/~dishbout/kpatterns/bamboo1.html To YO (yarn over) would that be the same as when you are going to purl, except I would do a knit stitch instead? And then it says it again, only a little different. Could someone walk me through this, please?

A YO = Yarn Over… I’m not very good at explaining how to do YOs :teehee: …but if you go here and scroll down to YO… Amy has videos you can watch… after you do the YO you will just Knit 2 stitches (K2) then you will slip your left needle into the YO before the K2 and pass it over the knitted stitches…
