Holy cow!!! I’d put an eye out for sure.
[color=indigo]For sure. And I count only 7 needles here. She tells me that at times she has 12 DPNs live and inserted!!!
Looks to me like a knitting disaster waiting to happen. To add fuel to the fire, she says that she does this while watching television. :gah: It jus’ ain’t fair, that’s all. :tap:

:passedout: I can control 4 now, but I don’t think I could handle that many at a time!
I can’t imagine keeping those straight! I just finished my first hat & those DPNs were plenty for me to keep track of.
[color=indigo]I know, I know, I know. I can’t even think about 12 DPNs being in the same place at the same time.
Linda has been knitting since she was a young child, and both her mother and grandmother are heavy-duty knitters. Growing up, the family spent several months a year in the mountains in Chile, where she soaked up all those knits and purls from the indigenous folks that live way up high.
She is now a professor of linguistics at the university in Satiago, but still knits and knits and knits … and knits.
:whoosh:
Ah well, … :pout:

:oo: :notworthy: no comment…
:teehee: DPNs always look so impressive!
I had a bad run-in with dpns once . . .
And I bet you thought my avatar was an allegorical statement!
Impossible, must be photoshopped, lol.
Wow. I just knit a glove and didn’t use more than 4 needles. :??
i had a dozen once knitting a big table cloth… i got poke many times though :roflhard:
Wow.
I want to be sick.:passedout: I haven’t even attempted dpns yet because I am terrified of them.
Misty
fun fun fun! I love dpns! I’ve got a little wooden short pair for fingers. I always use five. I haven’t used any for 3 days, oh! I think I’m having a dpn craving right now!
Wow, that looks intense! I finished a pair of gloves for my boyfriend about 2 weeks ago, and I only used 4 DPNs at any given time. I’m assuming she’s using the others as stitch holders, which to me seems a bit impractical as all those extra needles would get a bit unwieldy. I’ll take my waste yarn for that job any day!
Looks scary…I bet Ingrid could do it! LOL!
