YFWD help!

Can someone help me with the following pattern? The section I’m having trouble with is the “(yfwd) twice”

K2, [K2tog, yfwd, K1, K2tog, (yfwd) twice, sl 1, K1, psso, K1, yfwd, sl 1, K1, psso] 4 times, K2

Please help.

Thanks

David

This is using yfwd to mean a YO, and you do YO twice after the 2nd k2tog. That’s putting two wraps around your needle and on the next row you may drop one off, or you would knit into one loop and purl into the 2nd one, or p 1 and ptbl on the other.

Does that mean I wrap the yarn arund my needle twice before doing the slip which comes next in the pattern?

 yep you will work a Yarn over twice…here is a video of a YO
that Amy has…scroll down towards the bottom
