YF, YO, YB trouble

I’m trying to knit the following hat.

http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/jejune/jejune.html

I do not understand Rnd 6 and Rnd 7-11. I’m creating increases and the instructions do not specify that increases should be created. Can anyone interrupt or explain these steps in better detail?

Thanks!

round six:

bring your yarn forward between the needles, slip the stitch purlwise, take the yarn back between the needles. it never goes OVER the needle.

round 7. k5; Yarnover, and bring the yarn forward so it is in front when you slip the next stitch purlwise. take the yarn back between the needles.

round 8-11 knit 5; yarnover; slip the previous yarnovers purlwise; bring the yarn forward between the needles and slip the next stitch purlwise with the yarn in front; take the yarn back between the needles.

you will end up with a bunch of parallel strands over the needle from the yarnover
in round 12 you knit these all together with the slipped stitch, so your net result is no increases.

Rnd 6: With B, * k5, yf, sl 1 purlwise, yb, rep from * around.
Rnds 7 – 11: With B, * k5, yo, sl next st and all previous yo’s purlwise, yb, rep from * around. Note: This results with a yo directly on top of each sl st.

Rnd 6: You k5, bring yarn forward between the needles (yf) and slip one stitch purlwise…that is go into the stitch as if you were going to purl it, but slip it to the right needle instead. Then you bring the yarn back between the needles (yb) and k5, etc.

I’m not entirely sure of the next part myself…
