Yet another finishing question

Sorry if this question has been asked a million times before…

I’m done with the front, back & sleeves of my sweater. I’m in the middle of attaching the top of the sleeves to the shoulders. Next on the agenda is seaming the sides of the sweater and the sleeves.

Is there a preferred or recommended direction to be doing this? Should I seam from the armholes down to the bottom of the sweater (and the sleeves) or should I start at the bottom and work my way up to the armhole? :shrug:

I always start at the bottom edges, so I know that they’ll be perfectly even. What happens in the armpit, stays in the armpit. :teehee:
